My personal toolbar and all my bookmarks were saved to my account at jonathan.labsir@u-bordeaux.fr, and today at 11 a.m. I lost everything. I can't seem to recover these bookmarks; I think there was a synchronization issue. Can you help me recover what was lost? Best regards, Jonathan

On Firefox version 140.8 using a MacBook Air, shortcuts for Extensions no longer appear as icons in the toolbar.

Online guidance to get Extension icons back in the Toolbar have failed. One suggested following the jigsaw icon in the toolbar to 'Extensions'. But none of the links under Extensions included the option to 'pin to the toolbar'. Another suggested using the 'Customizing the Toolbar' route. That too included no option to add Extensions.

Anyone know a better fix? Your suggestions are much appreciated!

I'm sorry, i am really bad with PCs but my personal computer broke up 2 days a go, we manage to take it to a service and everything seems to be fine BUT MY YOUTUBE AND GOOGLE ACCOUNT. It want take some browsers (chrome, firefox etc) as my preferred browsers or even help me with basic goggle tools. I mean - it's not a big deal, but i need to learn how to use my own PC after 10 years?! I don't think that's fair. Don't i have a right too choose a platform, especially when i'm paying for it? Please help me, all i want is just a BASIC stuff. Is that too much too ask?

I'm definitely giving up although I'm convinced about Mozilla values... The The bookmarks and history system will not be functional" error message is really driving me nuts! I followed first your "Fix..." instructions; it worked for a few days, and then back again without any bookmark. After that, all of a sudden, miracle! I got back all my bookmarks without any action! Today, once again, I've been waiting for weeks for my bookmarks to be available on Firefox... I imported them to Edge and I'm now using Edge.

When I open a new tab, I have it set to the home page. When I go there, it adds the most visited sites, yes? ok. but...now when I go there, it has a bunch of sites past my pinned ones. When I dismiss one, all of them disappear except my pinned. A few minutes later, I open a new tab, and theres a bunch of new sites again, but I can only dismiss these one at a time, and they again disappear for some minutes, or a couple/few tab openings. Bug or feature? how do I fix it?

I decided to try exporting my Facebook Messenger E2E encrypted chats, however I keep running into a variety of problems, because the process is simply badly written. By default, the process breaks when the website local storage data reaches 10GB - that is, as far as I understand, a Firefox limit. There is still plenty of RAM and disk space remaining. When the local storage hits 10GB, you get a "Quota exceeded" DOM Exception.

To get around that, I've changed browser.cache.disk.smart_size.enabled -> False browser.cache.disk.capacity -> 50GB (values in KB of course) dom.storage.default_quota -> 25GB dom.storage.default_site_quota -> 25GB browser.cache.disk.max_entry_size -> 256MB (seemed like some larger files were missing, like longer videos)

However the process still breaks, although I'm unsure if it wasn't a soft-limit by Facebook the last time (since it stopped downloading around 8,5-9GB, earlier than in previous attempts)

Are there more settings that could be limiting the export apart from those mentioned? I understand this is pushing the browser over the reasonable limits, however I still hope it is possible to override them for that one-off situation before reverting to defaults.

Hello, Mozilla. I really appreciate the way you think about internet access. What you stated about the app is truly reflected within it: fast connections, accurate results, and most importantly, the security. However, when it comes to advertisements, I was really expecting that whenever I watch YouTube contents, there will be no ads shown. To my surprise, ads are still there. I provided a snapshot of my desktop to give a proof about this. Is there somehow a way to get rid of them, like perhaps an extension to block ads? If there's none, that's fine as well. Thank you and high praise to the developers of this browser.
