When attempting to enter log in information automatically, the expected notification appears and is confirmed, but the "Logins & Passwords" repository remains empty.

When attempting to enter log in info manually, from the "Logins & Passwords"page, the error message "an error occurred while trying to save this password" pops up after filling the fields under "Create New Login" and hitting the "Save" button.

I know I'm working on borrowed time with this setup, but I'd like to squeeze as much life as I can out of this old Mac, and having a functioning password manager is high priority.

I updated my Mac to macOS Golden Gate. Tried to update Firefox from a non-admin account. It failed. Went to admin account, deleted Firefox and reinstalled from a new dmg download. All fine in the admin account. But the non-admin account (where I work day to day) won't even launch a Firefox window. It asks for admin access to install a helper. I can't see why it needs this but have given it via username and password, but it still doesn't launch. The dock icon says "Running in Background" when I hover over Firefox and the icon bounces. But no browser window

I started noticing that Firefox was giving me a lot of "not responding" freezes the past couple of weeks. The past couple of days I basically cannot access Firefox at all - constant, immediate freezing. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling (multiple times), disabling hardware acceleration, running troubleshooter mode (still freezes! if it opens at all!), deleting profiles, restarting my computer, etc. I've done just about everything I can find online about this issue. Nothing has worked. I have no issues with Chrome or Edge.

Any suggestions??

Suddenly all my searches in Firefox go to Gradilsk - this is stopped by my Bitdefender which states it is unsafe. If I override and go with it I have a huge number of spam attacks listed. Is Gradilsk the search engine of Firefox and if not how do I get rid of it?

Firefox today said it was missing a file and could not open- I reinstalled the software but then had to reset my password as it would not accept the old one- now everything is gone on my set up- bookmarks accounts-pinned tabs etc.

I have been using the browser extension feedbro and i really enjoyed being able to plop it out of the main browser window and 'add it to the taskbar' but for a couple days this option disappeared. Is there another way to do this? did "add tab to taskbar" get removed for browser extensions? or is this feedbro related? i am unsure how to test whether the button is missing for other browser extensions as well.

I use a website often where the links on any given page change colour if I have previously visited that page referenced by that link. This was an easy way for me to keep track of which pages I have accessed before. In the past, Firefox would retain this information so that I could see where I had been even if I last visited the site several years in the past. At present, if I visited the site more than 6 months ago, I can no longer see it. How can I change the settings so that my browsing history is retained indefinitely?.

I have backups of the AppData profile folders which I'm hoping that I can restore once the setting is changed so that I can once again see my history on this website.

There was an electrical outage and I lost all of my settings,pictures,bookmarks,documents,home page,every thing and I can't get it back....I have tried everything I know (which isn't much) to try and get it back,like a restore,downloading Firefox again thinking that would bring everything back,but nothing I did worked...I really need to get all of that information back up and running again as I have extremely important messages and emails I just can't afford to loose. How can I get my home page back, along with all my other settings? It is so important that I get all of it back !! Can an electrical outage erase everything off of a computer and if so is it lost for good or can I get it back? Please, Help!! Thank you :)

Ever since a recent update, my animated wallpaper for Firefox only plays one frame, and then freezes. If i switch or refresh tabs sometimes it can trigger the GIF to start playing normally, but 90% of the time the background stays frozen, I don't think this issue is related to my PC because the wallpaper was working fine before the Firefox update, and I'm having the exact same issue on my laptop too.

I’ve used Firefox for over 20 years and it’s always been my main browser, but since updating my Mac to macOS 27, Firefox has become unusable with one of my essential web apps (FlightLogger). The first page after logging in loads normally, but any click or navigation after that fails. The header stays visible, the rest of the page stays blank, and clicking links only adds a “#” to the URL with no content loading.

Safari works perfectly on the same machine and same network.

In Firefox’s console, every JavaScript file coming from CloudFront fails with “CORS request did not succeed (Status code: null)”, and I also see repeated “A ServiceWorker intercepted the request and encountered an unexpected error” messages. Module scripts are also blocked with “Module source URI is not allowed in this document.”

To rule out local issues, I’ve already reinstalled Firefox, created new profiles, cleared all caches/cookies/service workers, disabled all extensions, disabled DNS‑over‑HTTPS, disabled Enhanced Tracking Protection, reset macOS network settings, checked proxy settings, and tried different networks. The problem persists even with a completely fresh Firefox install and profile.

This started immediately after upgrading to macOS 27, and only affects Firefox. Safari loads the same CloudFront assets without any issue. It looks like Firefox can load the initial HTML but cannot fetch any CloudFront‑hosted JavaScript modules, which breaks navigation entirely.

Has anyone else seen this after updating to macOS 27, or found a workaround? I’d really like to keep using Firefox as my main browser.

My desktop Firefox (version 155.0.1) has recently became unable to consistently access the Web site at this Web site this Web site. Chrome successfully accesses the site 100% of the time. Firefox's connection failures are intermittent, unpredictable, and usually go away on their own after varying time intervals (sometimes can't connect for up to 24 hours). I see status messages saying Firefox is trying to connect to the site, but it eventually gives up and times out.

I cleared the Firefox cache, but that had no effect. I don't recall making any significant changes to the Firefox settings lately. Any suggestions on what to look at/try would be greatly appreciated.

(Yes, I know the site doesn't use https: Its protocol is outside my control).

How to force Firefox to display current search results. The internet has become like local FM radio. You can never find or hear what you want. When I search for latest news I don't want to read about Jimmy Carter or Barack Obama. Is there a setting to only show the latest results?

I just recently installed the VPN on Firefox. It hadn't shown up because of my privacy settings. It works fine except for the United States connection. When I choose the other countries, it works fine, but when I choose United States, it still shows Japan (where I live). It still shows Japan, but it does have an effect. It changes it to Tokyo, where I don't live. So, the vpn is having some effect, but it is just not connecting to the United States. Why is that?

Mozilla Firefox keeps crashing repeatedly while I am searching or typing, and the problem persists. Why is this happening, and what is the solution? I request you to investigate and fix this crashing issue as soon as possible.

In the Settings, the "HTTPS-Only" feature seems broken. There is an option to 'Don't enable" this feature, but that doesn't make any difference. I can get to an "http:" site using any other browser, but not with the latest Firefox.
